At the foot of the Hohe Salve mountain and within the shades of the majestic silhouette of the Wilder Kaiser Mountain range, the town of Soll is nestling at 700 m above sea level. Soll is the main resort of the largest Austrian skiing area – The Ski Welt, with amazing opportunities for ski addicts and winter sports fans. The town itself is a modern resort with all the fun opportunities and sport facilities needed for an unforgettable snow-white holiday. Despite of the relatively low altitude and thanks to the vicinity of stunning mountains, as well as to the huge investment in snow-making facilities, even the lowest pistes of the resort boast of great snow cover throughout the season. Soll offers access to 250 km of skiable slopes catering for all abilities skiers. Beginners will find great variety of nursery runs and gentle slopes as well as a prestigious ski school to initiate. Intermediates at Soll are privileged for they can ski along most of the runs in the area and gradually improve by increasing the difficulty level. If you are advanced or expert, try the 8 black runs, which are quite tempting and challenging. Most slopes at Soll are prepared and there is not much off-piste to explore.

Boarding terrains at Soll is most attractive for beginners and intermediates. A snow park and a half-pipe will keep them entertained throughout their stay. Experts on the board will prefer some of the neighbor destinations in the Ski Welt for more challenges. Snow fans are offered some other attractive options to enjoy winter. Try some tobogganing, curling, romantic rides on a sleigh into the depths of the mountain beauty or the charming experience of ice-skating on the lake Moorsee, when it is frozen. When off the slopes the local Sports Center offers a myriad of leisure opportunities, with special recommendation for the connecting indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

The town of Soll is lively and welcoming. Apres-ski starts early in the morning in the in-town and on-the-slopes cafes and bistros where fun and high mood are guaranteed. A fine selection of 50 restaurants offers you the best of local and international cuisine with plenty to choose. At night entertainment is best in the local bars, pubs and nightclubs.
