Serfaus is a small and cheerful town, dominating the Inn Valley and set in the sunniest side of Austrian Tyrol. It is particularly charming in summer and delightful in the snow-white of the mountain in winter, but what is typical for the place is its bright sunshine all over the year. The town of Serfaus is welcoming and peaceful, with excellent skiing opportunities and calm but entertaining nightlife. It is traffic free and equipped with an underground railway, which transports guests throughout the town and directly to the slopes.
Besides skiing, Serfaus has a special dedication to families, providing modern facilities and comfort as well as relaxing spa opportunities.
Skiing in the resort is class, still best catering for intermediate skiers. The resort gives direct access to 160 km of downhill runs, situated at between 1 200 and 2 750 m above sea level. Beginners and intermediates will find their best practice area on the plateau along spacious wide pistes, suitable for carving as well. Serfaus is connected with the neighbor Fiss and Ladis by a common lift pass, including 53 lifts, so the total skiing area is easy reachable. Cross country in this lovely region along 110 km of marked tracks is an experience you should not miss. There is also a toboggan run available, and plenty of snow-related activities to practice. Snowboarders will find a perfectly equipped snow park and some off-piste for the bravest.
The town of Serfaus will charm you with its peaceful traditional atmosphere. The local après-ski is composed by cosy cafes and mountain restaurants, offering peaceful but cheerful atmosphere, as well as excellent regional and international food. 2 nightclubs and a selection of stylish bars provide for a relatively busy nightlife, compared to the nearby located Fiss and Ladis.
