The village of Reith bei Seefeld enjoys a wonderful location in the Olympia Region Seefeld, which is a part of Tirol. The panorama extends from the Zillertaler Alps on the east to the Stubaier Alps on the west, whereas the spectacular backdrop includes chains of the Karwendel National Park, stretching even to Germany. Reith lies not far from the other villages on the Seefeld plateau – Leutasch, Seefeld, Mösern and Scharnitz. Reaching the resort is not difficult, since there is a railway direct connection (the most favourable from München), motorways, and the nearest airport is in Innsbruck, only 17 kilometers away. Don't miss the attractions hidden in this small charming settlement.

Summer activities
Hiking tours through the Reith surroundings seems to be the best pastime in the region, especially as you can get to the high Alpine moor, which is a protected area because of its great value and rare species. The plateau will fascinate you with its gentle forms and tender colours, the call of the nature will beckon you to come closer and enjoy its unique beauties. Hikers and mountain bikers will find a whole network of forest trails, passing through mountain streams and picturesque meadows. In case you prefer to stay down in the village, you can stroll to the River Inn – the best spot in Tirol to try canyoning and rafting. Keen golfers will find their place in Reith to show off their skills on the green, or to practice with professional instructors. Among other activities, Reith invites you to play a tennis match, or to take advantage of the indoor facilities such as swimming pools and fitness clubs. After the exhilarating sports, the time comes to pamper yourself in some of the wellness centres; to have a massage, visit a whirlpool and a sauna, and just to relax.

Winter activities
Of course, the aforementioned indoor activities are available all year round, however starting from December many tourist come to Reith to practice the typically winter sports. The resort is a part of the large ski arena in Olympia Region Seefeld, which offers 262 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes, an ideally organised lift system and 80 kilometres of winter hiking trails. At the snowy slopes excellent conditions for all skiers are provided – for the beginners, intermediates and experts. From the mountain ridges you can admire the magnificent panorama, which you will keep in your memory for a time ahead. What's more, night skiing is possible till 10 pm at the Kreithlift as well as on the Rosshütte. Apart from that, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowtubing and winter hiking have many enthusiasts.

Additional info
Reith, together with some of its neighbouring settlements, has its rich history, as it was admired even by Goethe. Sadly, many of the historic buildings have been destroyed by fire, along with the parish church of St. Nicholas, dating from the first part of the 20th Century. If you're looking for evening entertainment, visitig the Casino Seefeld is a good idea. While staying in the village, you will be treated with the typical Tyrolean hospitality and accommodated comfortably in a lovely guesthouse, cosy holiday apartment or a hotel.
