Obergurgl, Austria - ski resort review
The resort villages of Obergurgl, Hochgurgl and Solden nestle in the serene Ötztal Valley at altitudes of 1800 to 3080 m. The scenery will remind you of a winter fairyland. Obergurgl is the best destination for historical attractions and museums, but it is also a beautiful resort, among the highest in the country. The ski season lasts all the way until late in May. Excellent skiing conditions are assured. There are plenty of runs for amateurs, intermediates and experienced skiers. There are some great opportunities for off-piste skiing at Hohe Mut. The longest ski track is 8 km. The lift system offers 23 lifts, connecting all runs in the area.
