Located at the opposite side of Fügen, Hart is a wonderful holiday resort in a peaceful and sunny valley of the Zillertal. This typicaly Tirolean village with a population of 1,150 people, includes several hamlets – Haselbach, Helfenstein, Holdernach and Kohlstatt. Those that adore mountains will feel great amongst the scenic landscape of the majestic Alps and will be able to relax in the friendly ambience of this place.
Winter activities
In the village of traditions, there are modern winter
sport facilities, so you will have excellent opportunities for skiing at the ideally maintained slopes. Moreover, a free ski bus can take you to the ski arena of the neighbouring towns. All of these resorts are close to the Ski Optimal Hochfügen – Hochzillertal and Spieljoch ski areas, where a true adventure on the 145 kilometres of perfectly-groomed ski runs is ensured. Cross-country skiing, ice-skating and tobogganing are among the other activities that can become part of your enjoyable time, while staying at Hart. The hiking trails are well-marked, making winter hiking possible as well, and the routes will lead you to magnificent alpine areas , where you can contemplate beautiful, romantic nature. The resort guarantees top snow conditions from the end of November to the end of April, attracting many fans of winter sports.

The outstanding scenery of the Zillertal valley is ideal for hiking and walking enthusiasts of all ages and ability levels. Nordic walking is very popular in the region, giving you a workout without too much exertion. If you are a beginner, certified instructors will provide you indications how to exercise in the right way. The more you walk ahead, the vaster areas you will explore, including crystal-clear lakes, panoramic hills with breathtaking views from the alpine summits. Cycling trails at a length of over 300 kilometres pass along the Ziller River and can transfer you to the other parts of the marvelous valley. What else can attract you, are the numerous sport opportunities such as tennis, golf, as well as beach volleyball, and outdoor swimming in the lakes as a truly pleasant recreation.
