Brixen im Thale is part of the largest connected skiing area in Austria. Located in the northeastern region of Tyrol, it forms the ski destination of Wilder Kaiser-Brixen Valley together with 8 other villages. Brixen may be small, but it provides ample opportunities for fans of winter sports. Professional skiers will face the challenge of a 1 100 m vertical run. Skiing amateurs can receive training at one of the two skiing schools in the area. The entire ski slope network has a length of 250 km.
