You can reach us by car from the nearest major cities Munchen, Salzburg, Vienna and Innsbruck.


Arriving from Munchen. Driving instructions:

The distance from Munchen to Brixen is 124 km.

6km after leaving Munchen, turn left on A8 towards Salzburg, Nurnberg and Munchen and drive 58km. 25 km on A93 / E45 and you will reach the Austrian border.
Later head on A12 / E45 / E60 and drive for 19km.
Take B171 for some 100m and then B178 for 4km, after 13km on B170 you will arrive in Brixen.


Driving from Salzburg, follow the route:

From Salzburg to Brixen are 92 km.

Leave Salzburg and after 4km take B155 and then A1 / E55/ E60.
5km more, then 4km on B1 and you will enter into Germany.
B21 / E60 is the right highway - drive for 23km and you will reach the Austrian border.
Head on B178 for 37km, 8km on B161 and after 9km on B170, you will arrive in Brixen.


Driving from Vienna

The distance between Vienna and Brixen is 387 km. Follow the instructions:

Leave Vienna and after 15km take B1, then A1 for 288km and again B1 for about 4km and you will reach the German border.
After that you have to head on B21 / E60 (23 km) and then you will pass the Austrian border .
B178 for 37km-drive, B161 for 8km and after 9km on B170 you will arrive in Brixen.


Driving from Innsbruck

The distance Innsbruck- Brixen is 85km. Follow the driving instructions:

3km after Innsbruck, take B182 for a kilometer, then A13 / E45 for about 4km and A12 / E45 / E60 for 60 km.
B171 for 100m, B178 for another 4km and after 13km on B170 you will arrive in Brixen.


Another information about getting to Brixen
Brixen im Thale / Wilder Kaiser is a wonderful ski resort, easily reachable by the major airports in the region, it has also a railway station. Brixen is located 80km east of Innsbruck and 125km south of Munich. The fastest way to get to Brixen im Thale is by taking a flight to Innsbruck or Munich and then several options are possible: rent-a-car, rail travel and self-drive.


By train:
If you are traveling from London, you can take the Eurostar to Paris (gare du Nord is the proper one) from Waterloo station, then by metro to gare de l'Est. There is a direct overnight train to Munich, and then by Eurocity trains you can move to Worgl. You can take Salzach Sprinter from Worgl to Brixen im Thale.
Coming from Paris, there are also TGV trains that go to Geneva, from where is possible the transfer to Zurich - Innsbruck - Worgl - Brixen.


By plane:
The nearest airport is Innsbruck Airport, other airports in a vicinity are Salzburg and Munich airports. Among them Munich airport has the biggest variety of flight options.
