You can reach us by car from the nearest major cities Munchen, Salzburg, Vienna and Innsbruck.


Arriving from Munchen. Driving instructions:

The distance from Munchen to Alpbach is 119km.

5km after leaving Munchen, take A8 for 26km, B318 for 16km, B307 for 26km and you will get to the Austrian border.
Then: B181 for 23km, 7km further go along B171 for 5km and after approx. 10km you will reach Alpbach.


Driving from Salzburg, follow the route:

From Salzburg to Alpbach are 121km.

Leave Salzburg and after 5km take B1 for 6km and you will reach the German border.
Then follow the route B21 / E60 - Pass Bad Reichenhall - ST2101 - B305.
and then B21 / E60.
Thus, you will enter in Austria.
B178 for 62km, B170 for 4km together with Pass Worgl and some 23km along and after B171, you will get into Alpbach.


Driving from Vienna

The distance between Vienna and Alpbach is 414 km. Follow the instructions:

Leave Vienna and after 12km take B1, then A1 for 168km.
12km on A25 / E522 / E56, then B1 (82km), A1/ E55/ E60 (15km), again B1 for 4km and you will arrive in Germany.
Follow the route B21 / E60 - Pass Bad Reichenhall - ST2101 - B305 and then B21 / E60. Next point: Austrian border.
B178 for 62km, B170 - B171 and after un total of approx. 27km, you will arrive in Alpbach.


Driving from Innsbruck

The distance Innsbruck- Alpbach is 51km. Follow the driving instructions:

5km after Innsbruck, take B171 for 31km, then B171 and after about 10km more, you will arrive in Alpbach.


By train:
Worgl and Jenbach are the nearest train stations, where express trains stop. There you can take a direct train to Brixlegg. In order to reach Alpbach, you can take a bus or notify in advance to pick you up from the Brixlegg station.


By plane:
The nearest airports are in Innsbruck (60 km), Munchen (130 km) and Salzburg (150 km).
When arrive at the airport, you can take a train, bus or taxi to Alpbach. Rent-a-car is also an option.
