Hohentauern is a family friendly resort, offering ski pistes mostly for the beginners and interesting offers for the families with children. Also the cross country skiiers will find here over 10 km of the routes.

If you appreciate having a wide choice of skiing possibilities you may purchase a Murtal skipass, which gives you an access to over 150 km of pistes and 55 ski lifts in the following resorts:

• Kreischberg;
• Frauenalpe;
• Grebenzen;
• Lachtal;
• Hohentauern;
• Prabichl.

The only inconvenience is that it is not possible to buy the ski pass for the period shorter than 4 days. 4-day ski pass costs 113 EUR.
