Arriving from Munchen. Driving instructions:

6km after leaving Munchen, turn left on A8 towards Salzburg, Nurnberg and Munchen and drive 126km.
Entry into Austria follows, after which you have to take A1 / E52 / E60 for 3.5km and head towards Italy, Slovenia, etc.
Close to Salzburg take A10 / E55 for 61km and take the Exit 63 towards Graz and Altenmarkt.
E651 for 1km, then at Altenmarkt im Pongau take B99 / E651 for about 4km.
1.6km after Pass Radstadt continue along B320 / E651.
72km later head on A9 / E57 and take the Exit 86, then Autobahnzubringer towards Judenburg and Hohentauern.
3.5km after Pass Trieben and you have to head on B114, after which you will reach Hohentauern.

Leave Salzburg and after 4km take B150 for another 4.5km.
A10 / E55 is the next - for 55km towards Graz and Villach.
After Exit 63 towards Altenmarkt, head on E651.
At Altenmarkt im Pongau take B99 / E651 for about 4km.
The Pass Radstadt is the next, 1.6km more and you have to continue along B320 / E651 for 72km.
Take A9 / E57 and 17km afterwards the Exit 86, Autobahnzubringer towards Judenburg and Hohentauern.
3.5km after Pass Trieben and you have to head on B114, 5.5.km after which you will arrive in Hohentauern.
Driving from Vienna
The distance between Vienna and Hohentauern is 230km. Follow the instructions:
Leave Vienna and after 4km you need to take A4 towards Graz, Linz, Bratislava, Budapest.

The distance Innsbruck- Hohentauern is 341km. Follow the driving instructions:
After Innsbruck drive 4km and then take A12 / E45 / E60 towards: Salzburg and Munchen for 74km.
The next will be the entry in Germany, afterwards you should take A93 / E45 for 26km and head towards Exit 56 and Salzburg.
68km on A8 / E52 and you will enter Austria.
On A1 / E52 / E60 head towards Italy and Slovenia for about 3km.

Railway Selzthal - Trieben or St.Michael - Trieben. From Trieben (10km to Hohentauern) bus to Hohentauern. Pick-up service by prior arrangement (tel. 03618/206, Berghof Kandler inn) available. Sudbahn (North-South railway connection).
The nearest train station (Trieben) is 10 km away, Selzthal (IC) 22 km, Judenburg (IC) 40 km. After that bus service available.
