You can reach us by car from the nearest major cities Munchen, Salzburg, Vienna and Innsbruck.

Altenmarkt / Zauchensee is conveniently located near the (A-10/E-55) Salzburg-Villach autobahn and is well connected with the rest of the European motorway network. If you are coming from the UK, the quickest route from Calais bypasses the cities of Reims, Metz, Strasbourg (France), Stuttgart, Munich (Germany) and Salzburg. Drive south on the A-10 from here and take exit 74 for the resort (1,180kms; 11 hours).

The distance from Munchen to Radstadt is 201km.

6km after leaving Munchen, turn left on A8 towards Salzburg, Nurnberg and Munchen and drive 126km.
Entry into Austria follows, after which you have to take A1 / E52 / E60 for 3.5km and head towards Italy, Slovenia, etc.
Close to Salzburg take A10 / E55 for 61km and take the Exit 63 towards Altenmarkt.
Take E651 for 1km and at Altenmarkt im Pongau head on B99 / E651 for 3.5km.
After left turn on Salzburger Straße, you will arrive in Radstadt.


Driving from Salzburg, follow the route:

From Salzburg to Radstadt are 69km.

Leave Salzburg and after 4.5 km turn right and head on A10 / E55 towards Graz and Villach (55km).
Take the exit towards Exit 63 and Altenmarkt.
Take E651 for 1km and at Altenmarkt im Pongau will reach Radstadt.


Driving from Vienna

The distance between Vienna and Radstadt is 312km. Follow the instructions:

Leave Vienna and after 4km you need to take A4 towards Graz, Linz, Bratislava, Budapest.
Head towards Prague, Brno, Graz and Linz.
Take: A23 / E59 / E60 towards: Italy, Slovenia, Germany for 9.5km
Take A2/E59 for 54km
Head towards Bruck an der Mur, Semmering, Neunkirchen West
Take S6 and head towards Graz, Salzburg, Linz for 105km
Head towards Salzburg and Linz
Take A9 / E57 for 64km
Take the exit towards Salzburg, Liezen and Schladming
Close to Liezen, take: B320 / E651 for 73km
Head on B99 / E651 for 1.1km
Continue straight and after 200m turn left on Salzburger Straße and you will arrive in Radstadt.


Driving from Innsbruck

The distance Innsbruck-Radstadt is 241km. Follow the driving instructions:

After Innsbruck drive 4km and then take A12 / E45 / E60 towards: Salzburg and Munchen for 74km.
The next will be the entry in Germany, afterwards you should take A93 / E45 for 26km and head towards Exit 56 and Salzburg.
68km on A8 / E52 and you will enter Austria.
On A1 / E52 / E60 head towards Italy and Slovenia for about 3km.
Close to Salzburg take A10 / E55 for 61km and after Exit 63, take direction to Graz and Altenmarkt.
Take E651 for 1km and at Altenmarkt im Pongau head on B99 / E651 for 3.5km.
After left turn on Salzburger Straße, you will arrive in Radstadt.


By train:
From Salzburg, Radstadt is an hour to an hour and a half by train. (It takes a few minutes longer to reach Altenmarkt, since you'll need to change to a local or regional train in Bischofshofen.). Altenmarkt train station is accessible from Salzburg, Graz and Radstadt. If you're travelling from London, regular Eurostar trains leave from Waterloo station to Brussels-Midi, from where an Intercity Express goes to Frankfurt. There is then another service to Salzburg, from where regional trains go to Altenmarkt.


By plane:
Altenmarkt / Zauchensee ski resort is located 75kms south of Salzburg in the province of Salzburg and is fully accessible by road and rail. The most practical way here is to fly to Salzburg or Munich and transfer by train to Altenmarkt, while self-drive is a popular option due to easy motorway access; alternatively, international rail travel is also convenient.
