General info
This pretty village lies almost half-way between Salzburg (20 kilometres away) and a spa resort Bad Ischl (approximately 30 kilometres away). As a result, it can be easily reached by both a car and public transportation. It makes it a perfect destination for a day out, but only a longer stay will let you experience its natural beauty and all recreation possibilities, connected also with proximity to the Lake of Fuschl.

See is simply an ideal place for you. This area offers unlimited opportunities, be it a strenuous all-day tour, or a placid walk. Every Wednesday there is a public introduction to Nordic walking held in town. You are also encouraged to try fishing in the clean waters of the lake, as well as to swimming, canoeing, windsurfing or playing beach volleyball. Other popular pastimes include mountain biking and golfing. Fuschl has also four public bathing beaches.
Winter activities
In winter ice-skating on the deeply-frozen lake sounds like an attraction, another one is tobogganing on a meadow. What's more, ice curling, snowshoe trekking are also possible, and of course – cross-country skiing in nature's lap, as there is an 18-kilometre run. The well-known skiing facilities are within a 30 minute drive from Fuschl. The closest one is in the area of Hintersee, where transport is provided by a free ski bus. Going to Strobl is also a good choice as it offers good conditions for skiing and snowboarding.

The town aims at offering a relaxing holiday for body and soul. You should try some local culinary delights in one of the restaurants, where friendly family atmosphere is a custom. What's more, you can often listen to classical music and jazz concerts. If you like dancing, you could visit the local discotheque. There are also torch-light walks organised as well as romantic rides on horse-drawn sleighs. What more can you wish for?
