Arriving from Munchen. Driving instructions:

The distance from Munchen to Kaprun is 179km.

6km after leaving Munchen, turn left on A8 towards Salzburg, Nurnberg and Munchen and drive 58km.
Head towards Exit 101 and Innsbruck, after which take A93 / E45.
After 25km you will entry Austria, take A12 / E45 / E60 and after 7km head to exit 6, Ellmau and Kitzbuhel.
Close to Kufstein take the second exit and continue along B173 towards Sankt Johann in Tyrol and Felbertauern. Close to Soll take B178 for 15km, after which B161 for 36km.
At the Pass Mittersill take B161 and make 2 right turns.
After 2km you have to take B168.
Continue along Kapruner Straße and after 900m head on Landesstraße.
Within 1km you will reach Kaprun.


Driving from Salzburg, follow the route:

From Salzburg to Kaprun are 101km.

Leave Salzburg and after 4km take B150 for another 4.5km.
Turn right at A10 / E55 towards Graz and Villach and drive 39km.
Take the exit towards Exit 47, Bischofshofen and Zell am See.
After that head on B311 for 47km, later you will reach Pass am See. Here you take B168 and turn left to the exit Zell Am See.
Continue on B168 for 3.5km and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit and head towards Kapruner Straße.
After 100m take Landsstraße ad in 1km you will arrive in Kaprun.


Driving from Vienna

The distance between Vienna and Kaprun is 386km. Follow the instructions:

Leave Vienna and after 4km you need to take A4 towards Graz, Linz, Bratislava, Budapest.
Head towards Prague, Brno, Graz and Linz.
Take: A23 / E59 / E60 towards: Italy, Slovenia, Germany for 9.5km
Take A2/E59 for 54km
Head towards Bruck an der Mur, Semmering, Neunkirchen West
Take S6 and head towards Graz, Salzburg, Linz for 105km
Head towards Salzburg and Linz
Take A9 / E57 for 64km
Take the exit towards Salzburg, Liezen and Schladming
Close to Liezen, take: B320 / E651 for 73km
Close to Radstadt, take: B99 / E651 for 5km
Take: E651 for 0.9km
Turn right: A10 / E55 towards: Salzburg and Eben for 17km
Take the exit towards: Bischofshofen, Zell am See, Sankt Johann im Pongau, etc.
Take: B311 for 47km and head towards Pass Zell am See for 1.2km.
Head on B168 and travel for 3.5km.
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit and go towards Kapruner Straße.
Take direction to Landesstraße and after 1km you will reach Kaprun.


Driving from Innsbruck

The distance Innsbruck-Kaprun is 150km. Follow the driving instructions:

After Innsbruck drive 4km and then take A12 / E45 / E60 towards: Salzburg and Munchen for 59km.
Take the exit towards Exit 17, Lofer, Sankt Johann in Tirol, Brixental and head towards Sankt Johann in Tirol, Lofer, Felbertauern and Brixental.
Close to Worgl, turn left: B171 towards: Felbertauern and Sankt Johann in Tirol for 0.1km
At Bruggermuhle, take: B178 for 27km
Close to Sankt Johann in Tirol, turn right and then follow B161 for 36km
Take Pass Mittersill and for 2km make two right turns
Take: B168 for 19km and then the first exit towards Kapruner Straße. 1km after Landesstraße you will arrive in Kaprun.
