Skiing in Solden, Austria

skiing Solden - Hochsolden ski area offers over 150 km of excellently prepared ski pistes. Solden is just one of the villages which make up a world-famous skiing area - Otztal Valley. The other 6 are: Obergurgl - Hochgurgl; Vent; Oetz; Kuethai; Hochzeiger. Here, in this 67 km long valley, you will also find two the biggest glaciers in Austria: Tiefenbach and Rettenbach. Unfortunately there is no ski pass which would give the access to the skiing facilities in all of the region's villages, including glaciers. Every ski village has its own tickets. However in summer, Otztal Card is available which is a guarantee of many discounts and free entries in the whole valley, including use of the lifts, entry to the famous Aqua Dome and fun parks, as well as entry to the thermes. In Solden there is also Freizeit Arena Leisure Center, a large site with many attractions like Adventure Bath - water complex for children, Adventure Sauna, Relaxing Baths and other like bowling center and tennis courts.
