The nearest skiing area in the region is located in Bodensdorf and is called Gerlitzen. In summer it is a place where you can try out first mountain kart track or just admire the most beautiful panorama in Carinthia.
Gerlitzen Panorama cable cars are also one of the participants of the Karnten Card programme, which enables the visitors to benefit from many discounts and free entrances to various Carinthian attractions.
Another ski area in the neighbourhood is the well-known Lungo with 60 km of pistes, with the famous Rennweg im Katschberg village.
