Haus is settled between 2 well-known skiing resorts, Schladming and Pruggern, and has its own skiing area: Hauser / Kaibing. Cross country skiiers will also find there almost 40 km of well prepared routes.
Together with 4 other villages Haus is a part of the big Dachstein-Tauern skiing area, interconnected by the ski bus, giving you the access to over 220 km of pistes and 100 lifts in Schladming, Pichl, Ramsau and Haus. Prices: 39 EUR – 1-day ski pass and 182 EUR – 6-day ski pass.
Beginning from the summer 2007 a new "All-inclusive Somemrcard" is available at numerous lodgings. This card enables mostly unlimited access to many regional attractions and discounts.
