Reith im Alpbachtal introduction
Some call it “the most beautiful flower town”, others define at as the families’ winter and summer paradise… Both are true for Reith im Alpbachtal. It is an adorable lakeside town at 640m of altitude in the Ziller Alps. Reith is especially lovely and offers plenty of entertainment in the summer when the lake gives you freshness and the mountains has blossomed into its green and flowered beauty. In winter the resort is a welcoming skiing destination, part of the small Alpbachtal area.
The slopes of Reith are perfect for intermediate and beginner skiers. There is a local skiing school, with special attention dedicated to children. Advanced skiers will find more challenging piste in the neighbor Kramsach and experts are recommended to try the Kitzbuheler Ski Pass, giving them access to 700 km of great ski terrain in 30 resorts to suit all abilities. The Alpbachtal area, encompassing Alpbach, Kramsach and Reith, offers 46 km of downhill runs, catering for intermediates and novice skiers mainly. The whole area has a special dedication to families and children and offers a lot of opportunities and fun on and off the slopes, such as family walks in the mountain, theme hikes and so much more.
Snowboarders will find a perfectly equipped snow park and some decent off-piste to explore.
