Winter activities
The resort thrives every winter season, as it attracts skiers and snowboarders of many nationalities. You will find there ski pistes for any kind of abilities, covering a total of 35 kilometres. This number consist of 3 kilometres of gentle routes for the beginners, 27 kilometres of terrain for intermediates, and 5 kilometres of challenging slopes foreseen for the ski experts. The glistening white surface will also appeal to the country-skiing fans, who can take a ride on the especially prepared runs, situated amongst scenic areas. At the same time, hikers are encouraged to follow the numerous beautiful trails. Ski and snowboard schools ensure training by experts who will do their best to make you improve your skills. For the most passionate skiers there is the Ski Hit pass, which is valid on the Mölltaler Glacier and across East Tyrol, as well as the Top Ski pass, granting access to all resorts in Carinthia and East Tyrol.
Summer activities
Carinthia is so special due to its splendid scenery with picturesque lakes and mighty mountains within the same area. Therefore, in the summer you can climb to the high alpine ridges, hike through the gentle hills or pass across the large lowlands spread all over the province. The region has various destinations for tourist trips, including the parks on Weissensee and Hermagor, as well as the Carinthia’s Nature Arena. Traversing the paths along or above the level of the Lake Ossiach, Lake Faak, or through the Heiligenblut, you will be amazed by the breathtaking landscape. Should you wish a pleasant and placid walk, you can explore the pine forests in the Malta and Lieser valleys. Cycling is a wonderful way to combine a sport activity with a chance to see the cultural highlights along Drau, Gail, Möll and Lavant. Joggers will find excellent tracks along the Lake Wörth and Lake Millstatt.
