Keutschach is especially popular as a summer destination, offering multiple activities. Proximity of the surrounding lakes – Hafnersee, Keutschacher See, Rauschelsee and Trattningteich – makes it a perfect place for swimming, sailing, rowing and fishing. There are several beaches at the lakes, some of them are nudist. Horse-back riding, hiking, and mountain biking are also popular. The Enchanted wood is a special attraction for all children. The view from Pyramidenkogel tower, open between April and October, is recommended to everyone. In the winter the area is popular among Nordic skiing fans, but you can also play hockey and ice skate there.
