Flattach is reached by car or by bus. You can fly to Munich, Vienna or Klagenfurt, then take the train and then the bus or drive the whole way round.


By car:
Coming from Germany, head via Munich and then continue towards Salzburg. After Salzburg take the direction to Spittal and the Moeltal vlley and the road will take you to Flattach.

The route from Italy passes by Udine and heads towards Villach. After Villach you head towards Spittal and then follow the above-described instructions

Driving from Vienna head along the A2 Motorway, which is via Klagenfurt and Villach. Then follow the above-described directions.


By train:
By train you can only reach the station of Mallnitz-Obervellach and then you will have to travel by bus to Flattach.


By plane:
The closest airport is Klagenfurt. From there you can take the train to Mallnitz and continue by bus to Flattach. You can also land at Salzburg and do the same.
