Located in the northern part of the 11-kilometre long Ossiacher Lake, Bodensdorf is a picturesque all-year-round resort, only 35 kilometres from Klagenfurt airport. Carinthia's sunniest ski runs in the Gerlitzen are just off the A2, A10 and A11 Motorways. Of course, spacious car parks are provided. The lifts operate from December to early April. You can ski on 40 kilometres of trails, the majority is of an intermediate level. There are 15 uphill facilities, including one gondola and six chair lifts. In summer hiking and paragliding as well as many water sports are popular. You can also take a cruise with the MS Ossiach flag ship. It will take you to former Benedictine monastery. What's more, there is a cycling trail around the lake, through other nearby towns. The total length is 27 kilometres and the sights are unforgettable.
