In order to avoid multiple train connections it is most recommended to drive to Bodensdorf.

By car:
Coming from Salzburg head on the A10 Tauernautobahn and watch for the Villach-Ossiacher See exit. Once you get there take the B94 to Bodensdorf and continue to Steindorf and Tiffen. Bodensdorf is at about 9 km from Tiffen.

From Italy you should take the road to Udine and Tarviso. Once you reach Villach-Ossiachersee, follow the above-described instructions.

Driving from Vienna you must head on the A2 Südautobahn and then continue along the B 17. Following the signs from there will take you to the village.


By train:
There are direct trains from Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium to the station of Villach. From there you can either drive, or take the bus. If you prefer to continue by train, take the regional train to Feldkirchen and then take the bus.


By plane:
Most convenient airport is Klagenfurt airport, located at 35 km from Bodensdorf. There are direct flights to Klagenfurt from Vienna, Zurich and Frankfurt.
