Fulpmes is one of the main resort towns in Stubei Valley. It offers a wide selection of entertainment venues, historical churches, museums and other sites of interest. The town's most famous attraction, however, is the Branch church Hl. Margarethe. It houses beautiful collections of Rococo art works, which were arranged and displayed by three locals. This fabulous religious museum is located in Rattenberg . It won the Austrian Museum Prize in 1994, the year after it officially opened. The building housing it was formerly home to the Augustinian and later Servite Monastery (1384-1971). The museum displays a collection of Tirolean art treasures spanning 900 years. These include highlights and masterpieces from the Gothic and Romanesque periods, as well as a myriad of religious objects. Innsbruck

The great city of Innsbruck is just 17 km away from Fulpmes. Attractions in Innsbruck include the famous Golden Roof, built by Emperor Maximilian I, the Dom zu St. Jakob, the Bergiselschanze, the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I, and the historical Wilten district. The last was named after Veldidena, an ancient Roman settlement in the area. The Golden Roof is named after the gold-plated tiles embellishing it.
