Swarovski Crystal Worlds
( 42 km away from Seefeld )
A notable attraction is the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens. Almost 2 million people have visited the Swarovski home in Wattens since the fall of 1995 and delighted in the mesmerizing crystal world that spread before their eyes. This unique, memorable place was created by Andre Heller. A remarkable display is the "Wall of Fame", exhibiting all collectors' items produced since 1976. In the Interactive Mediatower you can see the latest SCS movie, browse the video archive, learn about past SCS events, and more. The library features a collection of all Swarovski magazines and guest books ever issued. The collection includes works by prominent artists like Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol.

St. Oswald
The Church of St Oswald was first mentioned in the 1300s, but odds are that there had been a site of worship there long before that. Seefeld became a separate parish in the 15th century, and many rulers of the Tirol donated money, goods, and land to the church. As a result it was extended and improved by a series of masons and artists. Today the Church of St Oswald is considered one of the most significant Gothic structures in the Tirol. Emperor Maximilian began the construction of a monastery next to the church in the 16th century, which continued for hundreds of years. The former monastery complex is a hotel today.

Seekirchl

Other attractions in Seefeld include the Olympic Park and Seekirchl. The latter literally translates as Lake Chapel. Archduke Leopold V bestowed the 'miracle cross' upon the chapel, which housed the legendary item thereafter. Highlights in the chapel today include some elaborate frescoes.
